My Dream Sweater

Hey everyone! I can’t believe November is here! How crazy? Has anyone else been loving the chilly weather? I am here with another outfit for you guys featuring the best sweater in the history of sweaters.

Here she is! The star of the show! And I got her at Forever21 for only $16.99!! What I love the most about this sweater is the color. I have had this obsession with dusty mauvey pinks lately. I don’t know what it is, but anything in that color I have to have.

I paired this sweater with this  blue and white pinstriped button down tunic. This piece is easy to layer with and adds a preppy look to any outfit.

Keeping with the preppy look, I wore my faux leather riding boots!

Fall Hues

Hey everyone! I am back with another post for Fall! It has finally cooled down here in Ohio, and I am wearing all the sweaters and boots! Last week I was able to run home and have my parents help me out with this Fall post so thank you Mom and Dad! The Autumn colors are everywhere, and I have an outfit with all of those gorgeous earth tones!

Processed with VSCO with a5 preset
Let me just start with this skirt! I am in love with it! I used to hate any shade of orange on me, and now I don’t know why? Maybe I just wasn’t finding the right shade? I love this deep burnt orange especially with my hair. And the buttons up the front are just perfect…

These brown faux leather booties are a go to for me! I love them with these tights.

And we have to talk about this sweater! The color is so fall that I can’t even handle it. Look. At. It. It’s thick, and soft and the perfect shade of deep brown. So cozy!

And now I am just casually walking down some alley…but how good are these pictures? Mom and Dad killed it!

Fall Trends

Hey everyone! Welcome back!

It is finally the best season of the whole freaking year!!! FALL!!!!!! Who doesn’t like fall? I don’t think I have ever met a single person who doesn’t love fall. Carmel, pumpkin, amazing candles, sweaters, coffee, a good blanket, leaves… there are so many good vibes with fall. My favorite part of fall is the fashion!

This fall I have been getting major librarian vibes. I’ve seen high-neck sweaters everywhere paired with some kind of nerdy-chic eyewear. And I’m all for it! I’m going to show you a version of this look today, and it just screams fall!  I’m also very into simple and easy styles. I just love paring staple pieces together to create a sophisticated look.

I love simplicity! This outfit is so quick and easy to throw on, but is still on trend! Black skinny jeans and an oversized grey high-neck sweater create the base for this outfit.

And here is my favorite gold bar necklace that goes with everything! I also threw on my gold circle earrings!

And of course glasses! Seriously, if you haven’t bought a pair of glasses for fall yet, you should! They are so fun and are an easy way to add to a look.

Thanks so much for reading! I hope you’re all having a great start to your fall! Go get yourself some kinda fall coffee limited time whatever drink because you deserve it!

College Dorm

Hey everyone! Today I’m going to be sharing how I decorated my college dorm! If you did not know, I just moved into Kent State University and I’m going to be majoring in fashion merchandising!

I love decorating (so does my mom who helped me so much) and I’m so excited to show you how I decorated my dorm!

Here is my desk!
The book holders and mirror are from ikea. The picture frame is also from ikea, and I just printed off a picture of some greenery. The rose gold geometric container is from TJ Max. The desk lamp is from Walmart.
Up top I have two rose gold wire bins from Walmart along with a fake plant and pot from IKEA. In the middle I have a grey bin from Walmart, a striped glass container from target (which is perfect for hair ties) and a rose gold fake plant from TJ Max. (All my plants are fake because if they were real, they would be dead.)
Beside my desk I have this bulletin board with Polaroids of friends and family. I bought it along with the black thumb tacks at Walmart.
Moving onto the bed! I wanted soft pinks and rose gold to be my main colors. This comforter set is from Zulily. The striped pillow and sheet set is from Walmart, and the grey throw blanket is from IKEA. (Shout out to my mom for finding me the perfect bedding.)
Above my bed I just have this map that I can’t remember where I got. The string lights are from Target, and I just used them to frame the map.
Beside my bed I put this cart from IKEA, and I freaking love this thing. It serves as my bedside table.
On top I have this mug which I got from Laura’s Latest Thing :). I’m pretty sure she got it from Target. I also have another fake plant and a jewelry holder from TJ Maxx.
Down below I have another plant picture, another striped grey glass container and my little IKEA mug and fake plant.
And finally I have my window sill. I put another plant picture on there along with this adorable message board which is also from Walmart. (Walmart’s dorm game is strong.) I also put my glasses there along with this water bottle from TJ Maxx. I have already gotten so much use out of it.

And that it it guys! Thanks so much for reading. These next few months are about to be busy so I’m not sure how my blogging schedule is going to be. Once I have a routine down, I’m sure I will figure it out. Wish me luck and pray for your girl because she needs it!

xoxo

Double Trouble

Hey everyone! I am back with another post.

I love getting dressed up for dates. It’s just so fun for me to do my hair and make up. And picking out the outfit is my favorite part! Today I teamed up with my boyfriend Derrick to show a casual date outfit for guys and girls!

Processed with VSCO with a5 preset
These shoes are from Old Navy. They are a dupe for these Sandals from Madewell that I love. I have had these for over a year now and they are still going strong. (I wear them a ton.) I’m also wearing my trusty American Eagle jeans, which are the prefect jeans for curvy girls.

Processed with VSCO with a5 preset
This green vest is another piece I get a ton of wear out of. It can take any simple outfit up a notch. It is from Target. (Fun fact this blog post was shot in a Target parking lot, and there was a confused old couple staring at us the whole time.)

Processed with VSCO with a5 preset
Geometric jewelry has really been something I am gravitating toward lately. It’s simple and can pull an outfit together.

Processed with VSCO with a5 preset
Keeping with the geometric theme, I have these earrings from Forever21. I have gotten so many compliment on these.

Processed with VSCO with a5 preset
I love these  sunnies! They are so different. If a pair of sunglasses aren’t half the size of my face, I’m not waring them.

And for my purse, I have this one from BCBG (which I got from TJ Maxx). I have been loving dusty pinks and mauve colors lately.
Now moving onto my handsome pal Derr! He is so sweet and always helping me with these posts.

Processed with VSCO with a5 preset
Derrick usually wears muted colors. (This ‘casual date night outfit’ is actually dressed up form him.) I also got him hooked on American Eagles jeans. These grayish green chinos are awesome for guys and can go with so much. They are a comfortable way to look like you tired.

Processed with VSCO with a5 preset
This shirt is from GAP and goes great with the pants.

Processed with VSCO with a5 preset
These are probably the simplest shoes Derrick owns. He is one of those shoe guys that is obsessed with what he is wearing on his feet. These are also definitely the most affordable, and they are from h&m.
That’s it! Thanks for stopping by and reading! This was something different for me, but I hope you liked it. Derrick said this would be the best post yet because he is in it. 😉
